Truth meant living boldly and authentically — something our residents model every day.
Beauty was found in the ordinary, the unexpected, the tender — exactly the kind of wonder that happens when a child meets a rescued animal for the first time.
Freedom was the thrill of breaking rules that never made sense in the first place.
Love — the highest virtue — was the heartbeat of the whole movement.

A look back at our first gala…

Take a peek into the festivities of our first gala, Cirque du Sanctuary: Celebrating 10 Years of Sanctuary, held in 2025.

The 10th anniversary celebration was "a night of magic, mischief, and meaning," featuring aerial artist Shannon Grey, magician Matthew Holzman, live music from band El Radio Fantastique, circus artists from Poison Ivy Circus, a fortune teller, and surprises around every corner. The unique circus-themed event reflected the sanctuary's mission of creating extraordinary experiences that bring together the community in support of animal welfare, sustainability, and youth development.
