2024 Impact Report: Now Live!

Reflecting on a Year of Impact

At Rancho Compasion, every rescued animal, every child’s smile, and every garden-grown vegetable reaffirms our mission. In 2024, our sanctuary blossomed—not just in numbers, but in watching the vision we seeded in 2023 finally bear fruit. We welcomed over 1,000 visitors, provided lifesaving care to 120 rescued farmed animals, and impacted 415 youth through field trips, summer camps, and compassionate education. Thanks to our generous supporters, 90% of all donations went directly to programs, allowing us to offer free field trips to underserved schools, plant-based lunches, and support for children with special needs. Our dozens of volunteers and 3 staff members were the heartbeat behind every moment of magic, and our Compassion Garden produced 60 varieties of fresh veggies and over 300lbs of donated produce, nourishing both bodies and minds. This report is a reflection of the lives touched and the community we continue to build—one act of compassion at a time.

As we reflect on the milestones of 2024, we’re reminded that compassion is a force that multiplies. Every child who learned to care for animals, every visitor who found peace in our sanctuary, and every vegetable harvested from our garden is part of a larger movement—one that values empathy, inclusion, and sustainability. IAnd it’s a movement needed more than ever. With 415 youth impacted, 120 animals loved, and a vast, growing network of volunteers and supporters, Rancho Compasion is more than a sanctuary—it’s an urgently needed catalyst for change in the Bay Area and beyond. We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re energized for the road ahead. Thank you for being part of our journey.
